The U.S. Department of Energy recently announced that local father-son team, Greg and Hunter Mantell-Hecathorn, principals of Mantell-Hecathorn Builders, were included among the nine winners in the Custom Home for Buyer category of its 2017 Housing Innovation Awards.

Homes that meet the requirements of the DOE’s Zero Energy Ready Home program are eligible to receive the award.
